African has two types of articles: definite and indefinite.
The definite articles are lu and lo(s) in the masculine and la and la(s) in the plural. The mixed plural definite article is le(s).
The singular definite article can be elided into l' before a vowel.
The singular indefinite article is un or unǝ, the number one. Unǝ becomes un' before a vowel. There is no plural nor partitive indefinite articles.
The demonstrative articles work like the definite ones but with st- at the start.
