The Preposition pjerjed

The preposition pjerjed has two primary meanings.

Its spatial meaning indicates that an object is located in front of another object.

Its temporal meaning refers to the time preceding an event.

Like its Russian counterpart, the spatial meaning of pjerjed has given rise to several extended meanings.
