I think it's better to discuss Yadelovin on its own page than on Vandalon :D What I mean by giving hint words is that, while English translation is required, it is also useful to indicate which word and which language you derive this one from. On one hand, you help yourself. Say, if the word changes its pronunciation and especially its meaning when you import it to your language, you may not always be sure which particular word in which particular the original word was. And if the word is not borrowed from anywhere, and invented - just write "inherited" or something. It is but a few words to add to the Etymology window - and you spare yourself a lot of work when you have to change the pronunciation in the future. And if you care about the aesthetics of your language, you will do it, a lot. On the other hand, it will help make your language more relatable to the others. Say, I can recognize where "foda" and "ałpərmo" when I see the meaning, but what is the origin of, say "sakḥ'tan'ē'im". Maybe Hebrew, but how do I know? This word then touches nothing in me as an observer. If, however, I see a hint, like "taCh'ăl - Etymology see. Hebrew תחל", it clicks with me, as I may want to learn more of both the Herbrew word and Yadelovin. Of course, all of this is not a requirement. Initially, I did just like that - a word and its English translation. All those self-imposed rules about adding the word origin, and a link to its Wiktionary article in both the online and the offline dictionary, and the link to online dictionary entry in the offline dictionary, were steps I saw myself forced to do in order to save myself time. If you feel it is too early for you to go that extra steps with Yadelovin - then you surely should not rush doing it. Am am just talking from experience, so that you don't need to invent the bicycle once those complications become apparent with Yadelovin's growth.
