Mandatory vowel marking
Every lexical word carries explicit vowel points. Orin maps vowels to niqqud as follows:
/a/ → patach ַ (under the bearer consonant)
/e/ → segol ֶ
/i/ → hiriq ִ
/o/ → holam ֹ (on the bearer consonant; mater consonants may host positionally)
/u/ → shuruq וּ (vav + dagesh, treated as one grapheme cluster)
Loanwords are spelled phonetically in Hebrew letters with the same vowel rules, no hidden vocalism.
Root fidelity vs readability
Triconsonantal roots are retained conceptually, but surface shapes are regularized: there is exactly one vocalic template for verbs (cf. grammar · Verbs) and one plural strategy for nouns.
