Dialects

There are three major dialects of Kreẋ Naṃ: Standard Griḣrem, Fuźrad, and Keṇet.

Standard Griḣrem dialect (blue) is the standard dialect of Kreẋ Nam, and is the standard dialect spoken on the isle of Griḣrem, as well as other surrounding islands. Other minor dialects also exist on the island.

Fuźrad dialect (blue-green) is the standard dialect spoken on the isle of Fuźrad, as well as a few other surrounding isles. It has a more light, airy tone to it than other dialects. Fuźrad is to Standard Griḣrem as British English is to American English.

Keṇet dialect (green) is the standard dialect spoken on the Keṇet isles. It is seen as more rough and country compared to the other dialects. Keṇet is to Standard Griḣrem as Irish or Scottish English is to American English.

  • This table shows the difference in phonology between the three dialects.
