Suppletive Verbs
Some foundational Kethic verbs do not use the normal tense suffixes. Instead, they use suppletion, meaning the root itself changes to show tense.
These verbs still accept the normal ongoing suffix -mar and formal suffix -vaer, except where special formal stems are listed.
To Fight
The verb rath, “to fight,” uses three tense stems:
reth = fought / past fight
rath = fights / present fight
rathor = will fight / future fight
To Go
The verb mar, “to go,” uses three tense stems:
mul = went / past go
mar = goes / present go
mooren = will go / future go
To Be
The verb en, “to be,” uses three tense stems:
sen = was / were
en = is / am / are
thor = will be
Formal forms of “to be” use special glottal stems:

'thor'eth = will be, formal
