Vṛ́ṭhyam ah, ìsthla jā́nani, èghlū nahṝṣa chī́ni

ī́cṛḍi jòbhnaṃ vekkṝṣar, jòbhnaṃ kápṛḍi ṣrālhṝṣar

thā́manyar khā̀ḷ ī́cṛmu seḷā̀ṃra nīl thā́malu ṇḗra

Vrthya, crafter of man, who placed flesh on bone and skin on flesh,

You strengthen my hand, you support my foot.

Heal me now with your loving hand.
