Syntax

Velari follows a strict Verb-Subject-Object word order. The action comes first because Velari treats the verb as the current that carries the sentence forward.

Basic Word Order

Verb + Subject + Object + Adjuncts/Particles

  1. Verb: the action or flow

  2. Subject: the doer or source

  3. Object: the receiver or target

  4. Adjuncts/Particles: place, direction, accompaniment, origin, or other relations
