Relational Particles
Velari uses particles to clarify the relationships between nouns and actions. These particles do not behave like ordinary noun suffixes. They usually appear near the noun phrase they modify.

|---|---|---|
ve | before noun phrase | direct object marker |
sa | after noun phrase | at / in / to |
sen | after noun phrase | with / alongside |
al | after noun phrase | from / away from |
ved | before verb or sentence | not / no |

ve marks the direct object.
