Syntax

1 min read · 116 words

The syntax of Nkamụọ consists of the following rules: 1. Word Order: The structure follows an SVO pattern (Subject-Verb-Object). 2. Interrogative Sentences: Questions are formed using the Nkamụọ equivalents of "who," "what," "when," "where," "why," and "how," similar to standard English. However, for questions such as "Are you?" "Is he?" "Is she?" or "Is it?", the structure resembles a normal declarative sentence, with "ké?" added at the end. 3. Declarative Sentences: These consist of the standard phrase alone. 4. Imperative Sentences: These have the prefix "e" added to the verb. 5. Exclamatory Sentences: These include the standard phrase followed by "ọ!" This should clarify the syntax rules of Nkamụọ more effectively.
