Engláis /ənˈgʟeɪ̯s/ is a langue d'oïl (specifically from þe Zone francique) þat developed from þe Anglo-normand variation of Old French. It is an alternative version of English, showing how English would look like if it was a Romance language instead of a Germanic language.
