Domains

Words are built up of domains, which act as macro-syllables. A domain consists of an onset, a nucleus, and a coda. Both the onset and coda are optional, while the nucleus is required. The coda consists of two parts, the coda-consonant, and the coda-vowel. Both are optional, but the coda-vowel must always come after the coda-consonant.
