Ah-mavi has a syllable structure of (C)(C)(C)CV(V)C(C), The issue with this syllable structure is that you get monstrosities like kxɸtsæœoiɬk (pronounced kkhh-fff-tss-ah-ö-oh-ee-llh-k btw). So to prevent that I've come up with many constraints:

Onsets:

- Maximum 3 consonants.

- Complex onsets generally follow increasing sonority.

- Obstruent + liquid/approximant clusters are permitted.

- Consecutive fricatives are restricted.

- Affricates /kx/ and /gɣ/ behave as single consonant phonemes.

Codas:

- Maximum 2 consonants.

- Sonorant + obstruent sequences are preferred.

- Complex codas may not contain arbitrary consonant sequences.

Vowels:

- Maximum 2 vowels per syllable.

- Only specified vowel combinations form diphthongs.
