Hoksong Min 福松話
by Ethan Crossman
Hoksong Min (also called Pacific Min) is a Southern Min language descended from 15th-century varieties of Hokkien, spoken in the Pacific Northwest country of Hoksong. It developed from early Ming-era settlement and subsequent isolation after the fall of the Ming dynasty, forming a distinct koine shaped by contact with Indigenous languages such as Lushootseed. The language retains core Min features, including tonal contrasts and analytic grammar, but shows phonological simplification and significant lexical borrowing related to local ecology and culture. Today, Hoksong Min functions as a regional lingua franca alongside English and serves as a key marker of cultural identity in Hoksong.

What would raindrops sound like as a language? Inspired by one time I tried to generate words using LingoCon's random word generator from a language with incomplete phonology and it sounded like raindrop noises.

Terra-Lingua
by DwaveThePebble
Terra-Lingua (endonym: Junikiwa) is an auxiliary language that I made to be as easy as possible for all world languages. I have attempted this by making the grammar of the language very simple, as well as using the most common grammar rules in language. It uses SOV word order, has zero inflection, has an analytic typology, and it has no grammatical gender. On top of that, all sounds in its phonology are in at least 50% of all world languages, meaning the language is restricted to only 11 unique phonemes, 9 if you don't count glides. I hope you all like my idea :)
